Dear Fellowship Family,
Just a reminder that Friday is the last Friday of the month. We will be having service. You know the drill. Fellowship meal at 6:30, service after.

Also on October the 10th we will need to move out of the church for the night. The free community giveaway thingie will be going on that weekend. We will meet either at the Thatchers, or.....we will meet here. I had poor Buck revamping the campfire site, yesterday, bless his heart. Stay tuned for more info on this.

Upcoming event....
Hi, all I just wanted to remind you of the Bluegrass music get together that Maureen will be hosting this Friday. Green Chili Stew will be on the menu, and I am sure she would appreciate any help in the food department that you would be willing to give.

Mesquite Bean, Newsletter for Christian Cowboy Felowship, Roswell NM, September 2008
Hello Fellowship Family,
I hope this finds you all well and enjoying this wonderful fall weather. It is hard to believe that summer is almost over and we will be embracing another season. I love fall. The days just have a different feel, and the cooler nights are so nice.
I just think it is awesome how the Lord designs things. The changing of the seasons, the beauty of each different, it is all for us to enjoy. How can anyone question who created this planet that we live on? Just take a look around and behold the work of His hands.
Several months ago I felt lead to start a web page for our Fellowship. My girls and I, well mostly the girls, as you all know I am "computer" challenged. Anyway we persued the idea, and it just didn't seem that we could work it out. Some of the free sites included questionable advertising, that is how come they are free. And others were going to cost. So I let the idea drop for a while.
In the mean time I discovered blogs...web-logs..for you savvy folks out there. They are easy to set up, easy to personalize, and you can leave comments. They are somewhat interactive. I like the idea of being interactive. So I talked to my computer tech support daughter.....and what we came up with is before you now.
I hope that you all find visiting this site a pleasant experience, and that you find the information helpful. We are still under construction so to speak and will be tweaking things here and there, and adding different things from time to time.
I would like to keep an updated prayer list, and praise list. So please let me know if you have either you would like to add.
For those of you that do not have Internet, I will still send a paper copy of the newsletter, through the mail. I hope to have everybody covered this way.
Also on the side bar we will keep a calender with the Fridays that we meet highlighted. I hope this is helpful to you and will help with the confusion of just what Friday we meet.
